DeLeT for Future Jewish Teacher Leaders
Do you know a future Jewish day school teacher-leader?  The pluralist teacher education program, Day School Leadership through Teaching, DeLeT, is recruiting for summer 2018. The year-long internship integrates intensive mentorship and four semesters of academic work at the Hebrew Union College. Graduates earn the California preliminary multiple subject elementary credential and a certificate of Jewish day school teaching. DeLeT L’Ivrit candidates pursue specialty track in Hebrew language instruction. Bachelors degree required. Applications due February 1, 2018.  Contact Rabbi D. Schuldenfrei to learn more.

Yiddish Book Center: For Teachers and High Schoolers
The Great Jewish Books Teacher Summer Seminar is a four-week program for Jewish day school teachers (high school and middle school). Working with leading scholars, participants will survey Jewish literature from the Enlightenment to the present day and develop new teaching materials, watch films, attend concerts, and go on field trips. Participants receive $3,000 stipends, plus room and board. Click here to apply. 

The Great Jewish Books Summer Program, now in its seventh year, gives high school sophomores and juniors a life-changing introduction to important works of modern Jewish literature. In the five-day program, teens study with college professors, meet contemporary authors, and make lasting friendships. Jewish teens worldwide are invited to submit photographs that capture the theme "of my connection to the Jewish People.” The Jewish Lens @ Beit Hatfutsot, in partnership with photographer Zion Ozeri, will exhibit the winning photographs at a dedicated exhibit at Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv. The Purpose Challenge
A new online toolkit, The Purpose Challenge, draws on research into the roots and benefits of purpose. With video content, reading materials, and written exercises – such as imagining your ideal life at age 40 – the toolkit helps high school seniors reflect on their sense of purpose and contains step-by-step guidance on writing a meaningful college essay. Va’Ani Tefilati 
Va’Ani Tefilati is a unique curriculum for adolescent girls to engage in the richness and beauty of the Siddur and daily Tefila communication with Hashem. Facilitated by students themselves, the empowering curriculum was developed by Mrs. Meirav Kravetz at Hebrew Academy (RASG) in conjunction with high schoolers. Va’Ani Tefilati was made possible through the Women’s Impact Initiative Grant from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Yada Yada Yad Judaica Art 
Infusing the arts into the educational curriculum to enhance the students’ spiritual connection, Yada Yada Yad Judaica Art is a great resource for a selection of DIY kits for the classroom. Students have the opportunity to create personalized yads, Kiddush cups, candlesticks, menorahs, and mezuzahs. Yada Yada Yad also offers great projects for the whole family. programming.
