Relationships are the engine of the Jewish day school world. They drive our students’ work, our parents’ support, our administrative efforts, and the philanthropy of our donors. And never before have the relationships that exist among, and within, schools been on fuller display than in Denver at the first Prizmah Conference in four years. Read more.

Each professional in the Jewish day school arena comes from a different community and organizational structure, but we are all dealing with constituents who, at the end of the day, react in similar ways. When I met my colleagues at the Prizmah Conference, we got to discuss the specifics of “How do we run our development committee?” “How do we deal with burnout?” or just learn about new approaches for reaching alums. We might think about sowing seeds as having three distinct phases: preparing the ground, planting the seeds, and cultivating the ground as the sapling sprouts and grows. Complimentary Webinars to Address Hebrew Language Staffing Challenges 

Join HATC, TalentEd, Prizmah, WZO Morim Shlichim, and Edu-Together for two upcoming complimentary webinars for School Leaders to Address Hebrew Language Staffing Challenges. The sessions will be held on February 16 and March 29 at 12pm EST.

Field partners will share how they can bring teachers to your school, either in person or virtually. HATC will also give you information about our early August New Hebrew Teacher Boot Camp program, designed specifically for schools where a newly hired teacher needs an intensive orientation to Hebrew language teaching, curriculum, classroom climate, and the like to have a successful first few weeks and months.
