Space Still Available - UnitED Professional Development for Online Pedagogy

Are you looking for great - no cost - professional development courses for your teachers? Spaces are still available in the UnitED Sessions on Pedagogies for Distance and Blended Learning for Jewish Day School Faculty. With collaborative funding provided by JEIC (the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge) and UnitED (the Diaspora Initiative of the State of Israel), Prizmah is coordinating professional development sessions on pedagogies for distance and blended learning for Jewish day school faculty.

The United sessions are under the leadership of Smadar Goldstein, leader in digital training and learning. The United team of facilitators holds expertise in training hundreds of Jewish educators around the world to maximize online learning opportunities and sessions are geared towards grades 1 - 5 or 6 - 12.

The Israeli American Council (IAC) and Tel Aviv University - Innovative Learning Center invite all educators to a two-day e-Summit to reimagine the future of education.Together with senior executives from EdTech and education innovation, leading academics and practitioners of soft skills development, we will learn best practices and models to take back to our informal and formal classroom settings. The e-Summit will look into how innovation and technology will shape the future of Jewish education.

Prizmah is delighted to be a partner on the e-Summit which will feature Paul Bernstein and a Prizmah led breakout sessions for Jewish day school participants.

Prizmah is delighted to be one of the organizations helping Rabbi Sacks with an exciting educational project he is working on with The Forever Project and Maimonides Fund.

Using exclusively pre-recorded high definition video, and through the wonders of voice recognition software, the project will create an online, interactive experience that will allow students and teachers to ask questions and have a digital interaction with Rabbi Sacks direct from your smartphone, tablet or computer, anytime, anywhere in the world. When ready, this project will be made available to everyone at no cost. To do this, Rabbi Sacks is asking for our help to build a database of over 1000 of the most pressing questions young people are asking about Judaism, Jewish identity and life in the 21st century.
