The Yiddish Book Center: Prizmah Associate Spotlight

The Yiddish Book Center is a nonprofit organization working to recover, celebrate, and regenerate Yiddish and modern Jewish literature and culture. The Center's Great Jewish Books programs offer high school students, and high school and middle school teachers, unparalleled opportunities to explore important works of modern Jewish literature and the

profound questions this literature inspires. This growing series of educational programs and resources created by leading scholars from around the world helps teachers and students make connections between the rich legacy of modern Jewish culture and the opportunities and challenges we face today. JDS Field Good and Welfare Spotlight

Mazel tov to Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School for the completion of the school's first Sefer Torah! The dedication ceremony will take place at the school in Chicago in January 2020 in honor of longtime Bernard Zell leader and educator, Tzivia Garfinkel. Mazel tov!
